Zapier makes it easy to automate tasks between Clearly Acquired and 7,000+ other apps — like Google Sheets, HubSpot, Slack, and CRMs — without writing code.
This guide walks you through how to connect Zapier to Clearly Acquired and start automating your workflows.
Step 1: Get Your Zapier API Key
- Log into your Clearly Acquired account.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Zapier.
- Click “Create Zapier API Key”.
- You’ll see your personal API key — copy it and keep it safe.
- You can click the 👁️ icon to toggle visibility.
- Click the 📋 icon to copy the key.
🔐 Each user has a unique API key. Do not share it publicly.
Step 2: Connect Clearly Acquired in Zapier
- Go to zapier.com and log in.
- Click "Create Zap".
- Choose Clearly Acquired as the app.
- Select a trigger event (e.g. Listing Contact Inquiry).
- When prompted to connect your account:
- Paste in your API key from Step 1.
- Give this account a name so you know what account it's connected to
- Click Continue to connect your account.
✅ You’re now connected!
Step 3: Set Up Your Trigger
- After connecting your account, Zapier will generate a Webhook URL automatically.
- Clearly Acquired saves this behind the scenes — no need to copy/paste it.
- Test the trigger to confirm it works (e.g., create a test inquiry).
- Zapier will fetch some test data so you can map it to other apps.
Step 4: Set Up an Action (e.g. Send to Google Sheets)
- Choose an app like Google Sheets, Slack, HubSpot, or Pipedrive.
- Select an action event (e.g. Create Row, Send Message).
- Map the fields from the Clearly Acquired trigger to your destination.
- Click Test Step to preview how it works.
- Click Publish Zap when you're ready.
Disconnecting a Zap
If you delete or turn off a Zap, Clearly Acquired will automatically remove the webhook in the background — no action needed from you.
Tips
- You can create multiple Zaps with the same API key.
- Each Zap runs independently and receives its own webhook.
- You can manage all your Zaps in your Zapier Dashboard.
