Welcome to the Clearly Acquired Buy-Side Search Toolkit. This guide walks you through every feature designed to help you source, organize, and act on deal flow more efficiently, all from within your Clearly Acquired dashboard.
1. Direct Listings (Preferred Broker Network)
Access listings posted directly by preferred brokers in our network.
When you click “View Deal,” you’ll see detailed deal information.
Click “Inquire + Add to Pipeline” to:
Notify the broker instantly.
Add the listing to your deal pipeline.
Best For: Engaging actively listed deals from trusted brokers.
2. Public Search (Cross-Market Search Engine)
Search hundreds of marketplaces in one unified view.
Use broad filters by state or industry category to avoid overly narrow results.
Validate listings manually by clicking through to the original post.
Some links may return invalid pages — always double-check before importing.
Best For: Casting a wide net across the entire small business marketplace.
3. Import Hub (Auto-Capture Listings)
Two ways to import external listings:
From Public Search:
Click “Import” on any public listing.
Wait for status to change from Pending → Processed.
Click “Add to Pipeline” when ready.
Paste Any URL:
Paste a link to any listing (from Transworld, BizBuySell, etc.).
Add a short title and region.
System scrapes and imports the listing into Import Hub for review.
Best For: Organizing listings found off-platform.
4. Manual Deal Entry
Found an off-market opportunity? Add it manually.
Click “Add Deal” → “Manually” inside your Pipeline.
Populate with business name, description, location, and notes.
Best For: Pre-market or proprietary deals you want to track.
5. Email Forward to Import
Forward deal emails (newsletters, broker blasts) to: listings@import.clearlyacquire.com
Must send from the email tied to your Clearly Acquired account.
System will:
Parse the email.
Extract the listings.
Add them to your Import Hub.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once processing is complete.
Best For: Bulk importing multiple deals from newsletters.
6. Off-Market Search (Google Maps API)
Use keywords like “Plumber”, “Electrician”, or “HVAC” within your target geography.
Pulls in real-world business data:
Reviews
Website
Demographics
Ownership metadata
Tap into off-market business intel to build your target list.
Best For: Proactively sourcing unlisted business targets.
7. Pipeline Management + Data Room
Your Pipeline is the central hub for managing all active deals.
Each deal moves through stages:
New → Contacted → SIM Received → Underwriting → LOI → Due Diligence → Closed
